In Wine There Is Truth...
05-Aug-2010
|

|
DJ, Singer, multi-instrumentalist, wine conosur and all round musical genius, Chris Arnott has all the important boxes checked. He writes club monsters, vocal hits, and rocks crowds. He’s has extensive experience with bands, and solo work, but recently he’s also stepped quite comfortably, and successfully into the world of dance music. In Vino Veritas is his first solo club track. No vocals, just Chris programming some massive Tech House! This track is set to fire up dance floors from Brazil to Brisbane and everywhere in between. There's also a bouncy Tech remix from Playmode (Sweat It Out), and a bonus track from Chris called All You Got.

Natural Magic
31-May-2010
|

|
Do you like extra leg room? Are you prepared to be a hero in the event there is an emergency on the dancefloor? Yes? well then, Exit Row is for you. For instalment number 004 in the series, we take you to Colombia and share a slice of the local tech vibes from the one and only Julian Cardona.
Natural Magic is a bouncy, guitar fuelled, Tech House toe tapper with a jacking swing and punchy beats. It's a great track to break up a set from the "norm", and seems to work at any time of the night.

How to Murder a cRow
30-May-2010
|

|
It's round three of Dirty Weekends, and it just gets dirtier!
This time we've managed to coax one of our top Vacation artists over to the nasty side! Frew is well known for his club/radio crossover hits, but when he wants to get dirty, he gets down with the best of them. Murder Of The Crow is a sonic workout that will leave your mouth speechless, and your ears drooling for more.

Work Your Body
19-Apr-2010
|

|
Canada's emperor of Electro house, Hatiras (also the label owner of Hatrax) recently teamed up with our own Bass Kleph, to bring you a tech-disco-electro-house fusion called "Work Your Body". This one is sub-bass heavy and big! It has been climbing the beatport charts quickly. Already supported by Dave Spoon, DJ Bam Bam, MC Flipside, DJ Jelo and other top names too. Now we also present a special remix from Dopamine, one of our favourite techno artists. Dopamine takes this down down to underground town. This deep, yet powerful EU style techno track is perfect for when you want to work your body even harder!
Check em out on Beat Port now!

Everyone wants Cherries
18-Apr-2010
|

Our Dirty Weekends sub label is back with release number two, and the filth n sleaze continues ;) This time Taurus & Vaggeli, our good friends from the U, S of A, have taken the reigns along with Jan Van Lier. These prolific producers have previously released on Toolroom, Definative, Emotive Sounds, Kingdome Kome Cuts and many more. This time, for DW, they've gone nasty! Cherry Picker is a gritty, nasty, electro slammer, with a relentless rhythm and energy. It teases you through the build, then drops hard n big, with a "call & answer' loopy techno inspired electro vibe. This is then accompanied by a dark and nasty mix from our one of Australia's hottest producers, the one and only fRew. fRew takes things late night with this one, and puts some extra growl in the mix. Both tracks ar..

New Club Weapon From Kleph n Trash
12-Mar-2010
|

|
While holidaying in Europe, we recently found out that "Duro", is the Spanish word for hard, or tough. When you hear this track, the name starts to make a lot of sense. Bass Kleph gets back to his club roots with this one, and drops a high intensity weapon that just gets bigger and badder! It's Dirty Dutch with a Euro Tech house twist.
On the flip, we have the infamous Australian DJ, producer, songwriter, pianist, and party starter, known as Tommy Trash. The Trash takes things to Tech town! Same Duro flavour, but with a deeper, late night feel.
So grab a can of San Miguel, and crush it into your forehead, because it's Duro time!

Bonus Bass Kleph Remix!
11-Mar-2010
|

|
Joan Reyes - "Bass Kleph Dub Remix is huge!"
Someone call a doctor, we have a monster new remix on our hands! To celebrate the release of the My Hearts Stops MUSIC VIDEO, we thought we'd give u a spanking new remix, and from non other than Bass Kleph.
As usual with Kleph, this remix is full of energy, yet still sits nicely between a few genres. Tech House, Techno, and Vocal House come to mind, but we just call it HEAVY!
Since returning from his Canadian/European tour, Bass Kleph has been tearing it up all round Australia, and is set to do even more. In Febuary he was on tour with the Good Vibrations Festival nation wide, then straight into another tour for Ministry Of Sound for his new mix cd entitled "The Underground 2010" featuring Afrojack on the other disc.

Run away with fRew
03-Mar-2010
|

|
Fresh off the back of mixing Wish You Were Here 2009, and shooting a music video for his last single My Heart Stops, fRew is back with a yet another radio friendly, dancefloor bomb.
'Never Come Back' has an electro/prog feel, and features the angsty vocals of Dave Hoskings. It's driving beats, uplifting melodics, and haunting vocals have everyone coming back for more.
If you like things a little more club, then there is also a cracker of a remix from Taurus & Vagelli. The boys from the US of A inject a large dose of big room tech/electro into all the right places.
FEEDBACK
Donald Glaude (USA) - nice one, a keeper for sure!
Kid Massive (UK) - feeling the taurus & vaggelis mix, nice tough t..

The Festive Season is here
22-Jan-2010
|

|
DJ, Producer, and all round good guy, Dave Winnel is everybody's new best friend. When you listen to his track, you'll understand why too. Aside from jet-setting all over to rock crowds with such moves as his patented "air scratch", he has also been prolific in the studio. He's already had six tracks out on Vacation, with the last of which being a monster hit remix of Baby Gee.
Alex Kenji - "Very good mix from Dave Winnel. Nice house music!"
Festival City sees Dave bam it up a notch again. It's an upbeat House track with a little tech flavour, but before you know it, it turns into a whole lot of tech-tastic goodness. This one is all about the secret middle drop. The dance floor goes bananas to this!
Tommy Trash loved the track so much, that he demanded to do a remix. He took..

Introducing DIRTY WEEKENDS
20-Jan-2010
|

|
Introducing our brand new sub label, "DIRTY WEEKENDS"!
It's the new home for all things dirty, filthy, Introducing our brand new sub label, "DIRTY WEEKENDS"!
It's the new home for all things dirty, filthy, gritty, n tuff. Like a petulant child which refuses to fall into line, this is where you'll find the 'in your face' tunes that scare the neighbours. Incorporating Electro, Fidget, Indie, Bassline, & more. Out of all Vacation destinations, there's nothing like a Dirty Weekend away ;)
To kick the label off with a boom, we've broken the volume knob off at 11 with this one. Jackinori & The Dutch Rudder live and breath the dirty stuff up in the north west of the UK. They were introduced to us by our good buddies Stupid Fresh, and with a solid recommendation from them,..
